Little Canyon Shooting Preserve held their annual free youth shooting day in April 2018. The weather was windy, cold, and muddy! Over 54 kids and their family members joined several volunteers to host a trap shooting, .22 target shooting range, archery range and a shotgun shoot over live birds. The day was topped off with a tour of the onsite bird hatchery and a bbq lunch. John & Theresa Belknap with Mark Nelson represented the NWSC at this event. NWSC sponsored the BBQ lunch.
In April of 2014 NWSC purchased two metal detectors with cases from Impact Case Co. for help with their poaching and enforcement issues. Pictured here is President of NWSC Steve Belknap with Officer Mike Sprecher from Washington fish and Wildlife.
